In Amplitude's ecosystem
Amplitude [NASDAQ: AMPL] was founded in 2012 by Spenser Skates, Curtis Liu and Jeffrey Wang. It delivers a cloud-based Digital Analytics Platform that lets product and growth teams track user behaviour, run A/B tests, and link product choices to business outcomes, all without heavy coding or SQL.
Since launch, Amplitude has expanded quickly. After raising about $336 million in venture funding, the company went public via a direct listing on the NASDAQ in September 2021 at an implied valuation of roughly $6.4 billion. By the end of fiscal 2024 it counted around 3,875 paying customers, including 591 spending more than $100 k in annual recurring revenue.
In 2024 Amplitude added session replay, web experimentation and acquired Command AI to embed AI-powered user assistance directly into its product, keeping the platform on the cutting edge of digital-product analytics. That same year, Forrester named Amplitude the sole Leader in its Feature Management & Experimentation Wave, reinforcing the company’s position as a standout in an increasingly competitive market.
