Braze [NASDAQ: BRZE] was founded in 2011 by Bill Magnuson, Jon Hyman and Mark Ghermezian. It delivers a cloud-native Customer Engagement Platform that lets marketers collect behavioural data in real time, orchestrate personalised journeys across email, push, in-app, SMS, web and WhatsApp, and optimise outcomes with Braze AI.
After raising roughly $175 million in venture funding, Braze went public on the NASDAQ in November 2021 at $65 a share, touching an opening-day valuation near $8 billion. As of the fiscal year ended 31 January 2025, the company served 2,269 customers worldwide and lifted annual revenue 26 % to $593 million, marking three straight quarters of non-GAAP profitability.
Braze continues to extend its lead through innovation and accolades: in March 2025 it announced a $325 million deal to acquire OfferFit, bringing reinforcement-learning decisioning to the platform, and in October 2024 Gartner named Braze a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Marketing Hubs for the second consecutive year.
