In Bynder's ecosystem
Bynder was founded in 2013 by Chris Hall in Amsterdam. It delivers a cloud-native Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform that lets marketing and creative teams create, manage and distribute branded content at scale, with built-in AI search, creative automation and content-experience modules.
By 2022 the company had crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue and, following a majority investment from Thomas H. Lee Partners that same year, it now serves more than 2,500 customers, around one-fifth of the Fortune 500, pushing ARR past $130 million in 2024. Earlier backing included a $22 million Series A from Insight Partners, and leadership reports profitable growth while evaluating next-step financing options rather than rushing to an IPO.
Named a Leader in Forrester’s 2024 Digital Asset Management Wave and strengthened by acquisitions such as EMRAYS (AI search) and GatherContent (content operations), Bynder continues to stand out in the fast-expanding DAM market.
